PRESSURE TESTING
High-pressure test benches
Hydrostatic and pneumatic test benches built in Singapore for pressure testing hoses, valves, fittings and wellhead components. Hydrostatic testing up to 60,000 psi (approx. 4,140 bar) using water or oil, plus pneumatic testing with nitrogen.

THE APPLICATION
Built around the test duty
A pressure test bench brings the pressure source, test circuit, instrumentation and operator interface into one working arrangement. The right configuration depends on what is being tested, the test medium and the way the result needs to be observed or recorded.
PS Technology develops test bench packages around the component and the intended procedure. A valve, a length of tubing and an assembled skid can require different connections, holding arrangements and levels of operator access. Those details should be settled before a pressure rating or equipment layout is specified.
Can one bench cover several types of components?
Yes. One bench can test several component types using interchangeable fixtures and adaptors, as long as they fall within its pressure range. Send us your smallest and largest test items and we'll confirm the arrangement.
APPLICATIONS
Typical applications
- Hose assembly proof-pressure and burst testing
- Valve body, seat and PSV testing
- Wellhead and BOP component testing
- Fittings, tubing and manifold pressure testing
- Hydraulic component testing
SYSTEM
What's on a typical bench
- Air-driven or electric high-pressure pumps, up to 60,000 psi
- Test media: water, hydraulic oil or nitrogen
- Stainless steel frame and test panel
- Calibrated gauges and pressure transducers
- Digital pressure recording and test reports
- Safety test cabinet for high-pressure and burst tests
- Built with our in-house Metalclave high-pressure fittings
Oil and gas equipment supplied to companies including TechnipFMC, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, SLB and Exlog.
What shapes the design
- Test medium and range
Define whether the test is hydrostatic or pneumatic, the working and test pressure, and how pressure is raised and released. Benches can be built for duties up to 60,000 psi.
- Test article and connections
Share the component dimensions, end connections and any fixtures needed to hold or seal it.
- Monitoring and records
Decide what the operator needs to see and whether a trace, report or other test record is required.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What pressure can your test benches reach?
Hydrostatic testing up to 60,000 psi (approx. 4,140 bar) using water or oil. Pneumatic testing is carried out with nitrogen.
What can be tested on a PS Technology test bench?
Hose assemblies, valves and PSVs, wellhead and BOP components, fittings, tubing, manifolds and hydraulic components.
Do you build test benches in Singapore?
Yes. PS Technology designs and builds test benches at our workshop in Defu Lane, Singapore, for workshop and site use.
