THE APPLICATION
Specify the wastewater, not only the flow
Sewage and wastewater contain solids, fibres and debris that would clog a standard pump. The impeller type is chosen to match what the pump has to handle, from vortex impellers for solids-laden water to channel and cutter impellers for heavier sewage.
PS Technology supplies sewage pumps from 0.5 kW up to 200 kW with 2", 4" and 6" outlets, in all common impeller types. Pumps are available for sale or rental, as our own PS-branded units or other brands where a project specifies them.
Can a site drainage pump be used for sewage?
Only if the selected pump is suitable for the actual wastewater and solids. A clear description of the liquid is needed before a pump type can be recommended.
