THE APPLICATION
Select for the water and the route
Submersible pumps sit in the water they are removing, so they suit sumps, pits and excavations where water collects. Pump size and outlet are selected to match the flow, head and solids expected on site.
PS Technology supplies submersible pumps from 0.5 kW up to 200 kW, with 2", 4" and 6" outlets. We supply our own PS-branded pumps, or other brands where a project specifies them.
Is a submersible pump the same as a wellpoint system?
No. A submersible pump moves water from where it has collected. Wellpoints are installed in the ground and connected to a header to draw groundwater around an excavation. The suitable arrangement depends on the site objective.
