FLUSHING
Water-glycol and hydraulic oil flushing units
Flushing units for water-glycol and hydraulic oil systems, built at our workshop in Singapore, for flushing BOP and wellhead control systems, hydraulic power units, hoses and tubing. Cat triplex plunger pumps up to 3,000 psi, three-stage filtration at 10, 5 and 2 micron, and a Parker particle counter available for rental with the unit. Available for sale or rental.

THE APPLICATION
Flush to the cleanliness your system needs
Control systems and hydraulic circuits need clean fluid. Particles left in new hoses, tubing or a repaired circuit can damage valves, seals and pumps once the system is in service. Flushing circulates water-glycol or hydraulic oil through the circuit and filters until it runs clean.
PS Technology builds flushing units around Cat triplex plunger pumps, typically the Cat 650 or 660, giving flows of around 7 to 10 gpm at up to 3,000 psi. Fluid passes through three filter stages at 10, 5 and 2 micron. Filter ratings, flow and pressure can be changed to suit the customer's specification.
The unit itself does not include a particle counter. Where cleanliness needs to be measured and recorded, we rent our Parker particle counter together with the flushing unit as one package.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What are your flushing units used for?
Flushing BOP and wellhead control systems, hydraulic power units and hydraulic circuits, and new hoses and tubing, using water-glycol or hydraulic oil.
What flow and pressure do they deliver?
Our standard units use Cat 650 or 660 triplex plunger pumps, giving around 7 to 10 gpm at up to 3,000 psi. We can build to other flow and pressure requirements.
What filtration do the units have?
Three filter stages at 10, 5 and 2 micron as standard. Filter ratings can be changed to suit your specification.
Can you measure fluid cleanliness?
The flushing unit does not include a particle counter, but we rent our Parker particle counter together with the unit so cleanliness can be measured and recorded.
Can I rent a flushing unit?
Yes. Flushing units are available for rental or for sale.
Do you still service HPUs?
Yes. We service, repair and supply spares for HPUs of any make, on site or at our workshop. See our hydraulic power units page.
Can the units flush hydraulic oil as well as water-glycol?
Yes. Most of our units are used with water-glycol, and we also build and rent units for hydraulic oil systems. Tell us the fluid when you enquire, so the unit is set up for it.
